This role is focused on the assessment of work and providing extensive feedback to the learner. The job holder will work from home, but will be required to attend training events.

Principal Accountabilities

  • To maintain up-to-date and accurate learner files and contact logs.
  • To contribute to the monitoring and reporting of outcomes
  • To provide, as requested, information about learners and their performance
  • To complete all documentation to the required standard
  • To ensure best value and performance in all activities undertaken
  • To attend all relevant meetings when requested
  • To attend all TRAINING PROVIDER training and support sessions as requested

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • A high standard of written and oral communication
  • Computer literate
  • Effective ICT skills including use of internet, e-mail and Microsoft applications
  • Holder of D32/33/34 (A1/TAQA/V1)
  • Minimum level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy or willingness to work towards
  • Able to work effectively in a team, sharing responsibilities and duties
  • Willing to participate and record staff development and CPD
  • Willing to work within the requirements of TRAINING PROVIDER, including the Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy
  • Vocational competence
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative with limited supervision

Internal Quality Assurer

Job Title: Internal Quality Assurer
Reports to: Operation Director


The Internal Quality Assurers remit is to monitor the internal quality assurance of the assessment process in line with the Internal Quality Assurance Policy and the External Awarding Body requirements.The job holder will work from home, but will be required to attend training events.

Principal Accountabilities

  • To monitor assessment practices against the requirements of TRAINING PROVIDER, Awarding Bodies and other key stakeholders
  • To disseminate best practice via coaching and standardisation activities
  • To advise TRAINING PROVIDER where improvements in practice are required and to compile, monitor and where required deliver direct any improvement recommendations
  • To evaluate the effectiveness of internal quality assurance measures, records and  associated documentation and make recommendations to  the Directors to improve verification and assessment practice and activities
  • To review, summarise and circulate EV feedback, to the company, ensuring that each suffix/area is demonstrating consistent practice and that there is a company-wide process for updating and improving performance
  • To review and approve or disapprove all assignments submitted by teachers

Experience and knowledge

  • You will be educated to degree level and ideally have a postgraduate qualification
  • You will have experience of the sector (minimum three years)
  • You will have assessment experience, in particular with qualifications at higher levels(two years)
  • You will have knowledge of the QCF

  • Be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills with an
